On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, The Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 10–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.

The Regina Maria Theater announces the opening of registrations for the XXVIII edition of the Short Theater Festival within the Oradea International Theater Festival, financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between September 11–20, 2026.

The Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO) will take place this year from September 13-21, thus returning to the autumn season. This change in calendar comes from the desire to avoid overlapping with other major cultural events in Oradea, offering the public the opportunity to fully enjoy every artistic manifestation in the city.

The 9th edition of the Oradea International Theater Festival has come to an end after 9 intense days of theater! We enjoyed an excellent and rich selection of performances, concerts, related cultural events and beautiful artistic encounters.
