One of Charlie Chaplin's masterpieces of silent cinema is transformed into a lively and moving musical on the stage of the Queen Mary Theatre.

The story is one in the frame: Charlie Chaplin is with his crew on the film studio, preoccupied beyond measure with work, when he learns that his newborn son has died. Sadness and regret overwhelm him, when suddenly a 10-year-old boy, pursued by the police, asks him to say that he is his father. From here is born the idea of a new film that Charlie Chaplin is producing, in which the protagonists are a poor window keeper who finds an abandoned child and raises him.

The show retains the gags specific to Chaplin's films and adds the dynamism of verbal humor.
