The Regina Maria Theater announces the opening of registrations for the XXVIII edition of the Short Theater Festival within the Oradea International Theater Festival, financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between September 11–20, 2026.
REGULATIONS
- The performances entered must fit within the specifics of the short theater festival: maximum 100 minutes, without intermission;
- The organizers do not assume any problems related to obtaining copyright for the selected performances;
- Depending on the available budget, the organizers can provide accommodation for a maximum of two nights, as well as the transportation of people and scenery throughout Romania;
- For the performances selected within the competition section no artistic fees are paid, excluding collaborators per show;
- The festival provides free technical assistance for each participating artistic collective;
- Completing the registration form does not guarantee selection in the festival. The selection of performances will be made by: Victoria Balint (TRM interim manager), Bobi Pricop (director) and Raluca Radulescu (journalist and theater translator).
CALENDAR
- Registration period: May 15 – June 5, 2026
- Announcement of selected performances: by the date of June 20, 2026.
