The "Regina Maria" Theater in Oradea announces the start of registrations for the 23rd edition of the Short Theater Festival. The event, unique in the Romanian theatrical landscape, will take place between September 24 and October 1, 2017.
Registrations started on March 20 and will last until June 1, 2017. The shows selected to participate in the contest section will be announced by July 1, 2017.
The main entry criteria are the following: the performances must fall within the specifics of the Short Theater Festival (maximum 90 miracles without intermission) and must have premiered after June 15, 2016.
The festival also proposes a dramatic creation competition, launched in partnership with the Culture Magazine "Familia", whose fundamental objective is to encourage original Romanian dramaturgy, especially short theatre. Those who are interested in dramatic creation, can send works to the address of the Regina Maria Theater until July 1, 2017 (post date).
