The show "THE PLANNER PAINTER" brings to the fore the destiny of a character removed from "the pouch of a long-forgotten profession", an ephemeral product of an era, sacrificed on the altar of cruel history, whose native talent is diverted and wasted, serving an ideology sterile. The sense of failure in a mediocre life becomes even more acute after the fall of the regime when he finds himself aimless in a world that does not suit him. With regrets and challenges assumed, the character reinvents himself becoming another typical product, this time of democracy, of so-called freedom. His conscience wakes up, at a given moment, in front of the disease he experiences, after a whole life led chaotically, without a noble, great goal. The moment of illness also becomes a moment of remembering his life, which the actor illustrates in an original and innovative manner in the performance and through painting. If the character explores his own life and consciousness through painting, this aspect can serve as a way of universal expression. Colors, shapes and emotions conveyed through painting can communicate deep and complex feelings, giving viewers a way to connect with the character in a non-verbal and artistic way as well.

Spectators witness an extensive psychological survey, in some places uncomfortable, treated with humor and scalpel accuracy, each of them, being able to identify to a greater or lesser extent with the character. The central themes are the search for meaning in life, the search for inner freedom, the waste of talent, God's gift, but also the rebirth of man like the Phoenix bird, from his own ashes.
