Official selection of the Short Theater Festival, 22nd edition, 2016
The Regina Maria Theater in Oradea announces the official selection of performances that will participate in the XXII edition of the Short Theater Festival, a component of the Oradea International Theater Festival, now in its IV edition. For the performances in the CONTEST section of the festival, the selection was made by theater critic Doru Mareș. FITO 2016 will take place between September 25 and October 2.
The shows that will honor us with their presence this year in the COMPETITION section are the following (in alphabetical order, according to the title of the show):

2. Municipal Theatre, Baia Mare: Blue. Yellow. Red., performance by Radu Macrinici
3. "Mihai Eminescu" Theater, Botoșani: The Anniversary, after Jeroen Van Den Berg, directed by Erwin Simșensohn
4. Act & Scena 9 Theater, Bucharest: Mine water, by Csaba Székely, a project coordinated by Oana Stoica
5. Teatrul de Nord Satu Mare: Autobahn, by Neil LaBute, directed by Laura Moldovan
6. The Hungarian State Theatre, Cluj-Napoca: The Book of the Elders, based on the poem by Szilágyi Domokos, directed by Mihaela Panainte
7. The German State Theatre, Timisoara: It's actually beautiful, a performance by Volker Schmidt
8. Municipal Theater "George Bacovia", Bacău: Ich bin Ofelia, after Gertrud Fussenegger, directed by Sorin Militaru
9. "Marin Sorescu" National Theater Craiova: Illusions, after Ivan Vîrîpaev, directed by Bobi Pricop
10. Regina Maria Theater, Oradea: In the heart of the night – Episode Lear, script by Gavriil Pinte, with inserts by George Banu and Monique Borie, directed by Gavriil Pinte
11. Bucharest National Theatre: A strange incident with a dog at midnight, based on a novel by Mark Haddon, directed by Bobi Pricop
