The symphonic fairy tale PETRICK AND THE WOLF is a mysterious story, imagined by the Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev. A mischievous child, friendly animals, beautiful music and captivating shadows invite us to the adventure of childhood: how to overcome your fear?

Petrică lives on the edge of the forest with his grandfather, who doesn't let him go into the forest for fear of the animals. In return, he reads him a lot of stories, even the one about the fierce wolf. One day, Petrică, the little sparrow Fulgerică, the Duck and the Cat set off hunting, without a tank, rifle or cannon, to catch the "criminal" Wolf. Through the thickets of the forest, in the light of the full moon, the fear grew as big as the house, and Petrică quickly alerted the hunters. But the Wolf is hiding, waiting...

An intense visual spectacle, a shadow play, inspired by the story told in verse. A story in which the mind and soul are put to the test alike. (Ana Liliana Ilea)
