Dracula. About how I became a monster

SEPTEMBER 20, 11:00 AM, Arcadia Hall
Show duration: 45 min.
Age limit: 7+
"Puck" Puppet Theatre Cluj-Napoca

concept, direction and scenography: Dimitros Stamou and Demy Papada (Merlin Puppet Theatre, Berlin)

with: Andreea Bolovan, Robert Trifan

The show is a captivating and educational reinterpretation with puppets, starting from various representations of the character Dracula, adapted especially for children and families, with a dramatic focus on the themes of diversity and integration.

The production will not simply retell the story of Dracula, but will use it as a framework to explore how fear of the "other", prejudice and misunderstanding can lead to conflict, and empathy, understanding and acceptance can encourage community integration and cohesion.

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize at the International Children's Theatre Festival "Bitolino" in Bitola, North Macedonia
  • nomination for the UNITER Awards Gala 2026
