show ILLUSIONS tells about the fate of two couples in the twilight of their existence. The four friends talk about love, about truths and lies, about illusions and unconfessed desires and unlived or broken dreams. Cast in the form of a sequence of monologues, the show takes place in an open space, where the backstage does not exist, the characters begin to reveal themselves on a journey about the illusion of life. The actors of Illusions take the stage looking for a fresh breath, delivering monologues accompanied by a live cello.

Lacking an actual conflict, freed from the burden of intrigue, Bobi Pricop's show directs its approach towards man, what matters is being, not necessarily acting. Monologues and, in some places, dialogues unfold like a live movie in which today's man plays: alone, lonely and (self) isolated - despite all the sophisticated communication systems and so vulnerable that only the confession of the truth near death maybe quiet. And yet, it's all just an illusion!
