The Regina Maria Theater in Oradea announces the start of registrations for the 27th edition of the Short Theater Festival, which will take place during June 1-9, 2024.
Performances eligible for selection in the festival must fall within the specifics of the short theater festival (not to exceed 90 minutes; no intermission).
The application period is open between January 22, 2024 – March 22, 2024, with the list of performances announced for the festival to be announced on 1 April.
Materials required for registration:
• A recording of the performance (sent via Wetransfer, via YouTube link or a cloud where it can be watched);
• Synopsis of the show and some press extracts;
• 5 photos from the show;

In the composition of the bands registered in the competition section, the maximum number allowed is 30 people.
The organizers can provide, depending on the festival budget, accommodation for a maximum of 2 nights, per diem and transport for people and decorations.
Free technical assistance is provided for each participating artistic group.

• The Arcadia Hall of the Queen Maria Theatre
• Transylvania Hall
• Oradea Citadel – mobile stage
At the request of the bands, the organizers can make available to them other spaces for performances.
