Christopher is not dreaming. He calculates, analyzes, weighs, measures, observes and perceives life through the unpoetic filters of logic. He is a special teenager, 15 years old, with Asperger syndrome, who defines himself as a "mathematician with some behavioral difficulties". A child Sherlock Holmes, who knows for sure that killing Wellington the dog with a fork is the mystery that only his little gray cells can solve.

Thus begins the adventure of the boy who cannot lie, among the communication devices used by the adults around him, among prejudices and lies-metaphor. Along the way, he discovers not only what happened to Wellington, but also what strange events his parents, his neighbors, and other victims of the wounds of the past went through at the core of their lives.

Bobi Pricop's show, sliding with lucid sensibility between comedy and drama, has a different speed than the everyday one: it is the dizzying speed of a mind captive in a reality that has become bogged down in its own limits.

A STRANGE INCIDENT WITH A DOG AT MIDNIGHT is a performative show, in which the set-world built by Adrian Damian, from mirrors, distances and perceptions, is composed and decomposed to bring us face to face with ourselves and our fragile certainties.
