The new creation by the collective Proyecto (Puerperio) addresses one of the least discussed and most deeply silenced territories of the female experience: infertility.

Inspired by Yerma by García Lorca, the play brings to the stage three women who share stories of desire, loss and the search for motherhood: one found her way through adoption, another went through numerous treatments until she managed to get pregnant, and the third had to face the certainty that she would never become a mother.

Their stories, intertwined with songs and images from Lorca's universe, form the expression of this disembodied mourning and mark the third stage of the trilogy that began with (Puerperio) and continued with (Neonatología).
