The short story "Gospel according to Mark" by Jorge Luis Borges perfectly shows all the depths and heights of human stupidity and impressionability in faith.

The protagonist, who is of Christian age, enters the life of a single-parent family. The work that forms the basis of the show shows the dimensions of the chasm between the individual and the community, both rationally and emotionally. It is therefore about the parallel between reality and the imagined world, about blind faith, and about how a master becomes the victim of his own disciples...

The show, through the contradiction between the sacred and the profane, brings to light the character changes that occur due to faith, impressionability and sacrifice.
