A show with an impeccable construction, with solid, believable characters, one that manages to save a banal identity conflict and a banal fight between daughter and mother, well-known themes, and throw them into another area where it can be done the real theater.

An old mother lives with her daughter, an old girl. The two torment and terrorize each other with passion and method.

The audience's sympathy is directed, without much weight, towards the daughter. The mother is not so much senile, or helpless, as genuinely bad: she spills the night pot in the sink, asks for food to be made for her when it is clear that she could make it herself, accuses her daughter of being crazy, burns the messages that would should reach his daughter, he tries to thwart any escape attempt.

There is, of course, such a possibility.

An old mother lives with her unmarried old daughter. The two struggle and terrorize each other with passion and method. The public's sympathy is easily directed towards the daughter. The mother is not that senile or helpless, but rather really mean: she is throwing the night pot in the sink, she is asking for food when it is clear that she can cook it alone, she accuses her daughter of being crazy and burns all the messages addressed to the unmarried girl, to make sure she will never escape. Because there is, of course, an escape possibility...
