For the finale of its 10th edition, FITO transforms the city into a stage and invites the audience to an impressive visual experience, outdoors. O2 [OXIGEN] brings monumental characters on cataligas, animated forms, physical theater, light and sound to the audience, in a show that builds the disturbing image of a world in which oxygen has become a luxury. In a fragile and uncertain future, unbridled modernization has blurred human relationships. Only a few memories still echo in the bodies of survivors who are constantly searching for the vital element that can keep them alive.
Born in 2019, in Macau, amidst alarming levels of pollution, the intercultural public art project signed by the Portuguese company PIA challenges us to look towards a possible future and to reflect on the urgent need to change our relationship with the environment. The show goes beyond the boundaries of the conventional stage and brings theater directly into the middle of the city. An encounter between the imaginary and the reality, between the fragility of the human body and the scale of a changing world.
Come and let's end FITO 2026 together with a spectacular, poetic and deeply current outdoor show!
