"Life is a dream – proposes a fascinating journey into the world of dreams and life.
Theater is an ancestral art that has accompanied us throughout time, offering us a window into imaginary worlds and deep emotions. Throughout history, theater has been a means by which people have explored the complexity of life and its illusion. We have all experienced this at least once in our lives. In a moment, in a second in the endless train of thoughts, let something strike us like a bolt of lightning and we realize that our life is a dream. Let's say: a dream is our life in its essence, a vanity. All that we have believed, all our turmoil, all the sufferings that have befallen us, all the wasted effort of life with all the reality of nightmare or not, it all seems to us a dream and life an illusion of the past. There comes a day when everything seems like an illusion: achievements, loves, delusions, friendships, positions, pleasures, travels, struggles, defeats all seem like illusions in the realm of life! Life itself seems like a dream and all the dreams of youth and all the dreams of the great dreamers of humanity are just dreams that have left their traces in a museum or a book. And the main character of the play, Prince Segismundo, is tormented by the problem of life as a dream. Which of the poses is real: when he is a prisoner with his freedom shackled or when he is set free and with great decision-making power over the lives of others? Life is a dream speaks of the fragility of life and its ephemerality but at the same time it speaks of the greatness of life and its beauty."
