Edna Mazya not only recreates the process of an extremely violent event in the lives of some young people, but also analyzes the psychological mechanisms that allowed its occurrence. "Backyard Games" is a show about cruelty, an x-ray of the teenage psyche, a story about four boys and a girl living their last day of freedom, of childhood, of innocence. Last day without consequences! The case shocked Israelis, and the initial acquittal of the perpetrators sparked massive protests across the country. The publicity surrounding the trial led more women to gather courage and report various forms of harassment that were kept quiet.
