The piece The Zinc Boys brings to the fore an unnaturally current theme for the year 2022 and the devastating reality we face at our borders. The show is a dramatization of the disturbing confessions about war that are the basis of the novel "Zinc Soldiers" by Nobel Prize laureate Svetlana Aleksievici. The message behind these stories is that, undermining the entire existing order, the conduct of war itself can no longer have an exclusively male affect. In reality, any war is a real mixer of lives and destinies – there is the home front and the front of the soldiers in the trenches, with both hopes and fears that change consciences. A reflection on the theme of war and peace, of the need for spiritual evolution of humanity in order to be able to avoid the occurrence of new conflagrations in the future, to stop creating monsters that generate wars and suffering.
