FITO 2017 | DAY 5

Category:

Four days have already passed since the Oradea International Theater Festival, a magical time in which we enjoyed 16 diverse and fascinating cultural events. The festival continues on the fifth day with three theater performances and a folklore concert.

The festival day starts, this time, from 19:00 with two remarkable shows. The Nottara Theater in Bucharest invites you to the Great Hall to watch the show "Everything is relative", by Alan Ayckbourn, directed by Felix Alexa, a show that "harmoniously combines funny lines and masterfully constructed situations, with deep cynicism, black humor which is related to the relativity and fragility of feelings, an ambiguity of degraded relationships, which produces an explosive comic, but which, paradoxically, is based on a deep sadness" (Felix Alexa).

The Dramatic Theater "Fani Tardini" from Galati offers from the same time, at Sala Arcadia, the show "FAT PIG", by Neil LaBute, directed by Laura Moldovan (not recommended for people under 14), which proposes, starting from a simple love story, which acquires sometimes comical, sometimes tragic nuances, a real x-ray of contemporary mentalities.

From 18:00, on the mobile stage located in Piața Unirii, the Artistic and Professional Ensemble Crișana invites folklore lovers to the extraordinary concert "From Bihor to Banat". The event is held as part of the "Artists invade the street" project, funded by the Bihor Project Development and Implementation Directorate and is offered free of charge to the public.

From 21:00, the National Theater "IL Caragiale" Bucharest awaits you at the show "Soldier Girl", by Mihaela Michailov, directed by Silvia Roman, a story for all ages and all times, which carries with it the scent of childhood forever, a one woman show powerful, sensitive, humorous, current in message and approach, where psychological realism can reach depths of the abyss.

Also, don't forget to pass by the foyer on the left of the main entrance to the theater before the performances in the Great Hall, where the "Readers' Corner" is located, furnished with a lot of bookish spirit by R&R bookstores and coffee houses.

Tickets went on sale at the Theater Ticket Agency from Tuesday to Friday between 10:00 and 19:00, and on weekends between 10:00 and 13:00. You can buy tickets an hour before the show or online on www.biletmaster.ro. For additional information and ticket reservations, we invite you to call the phone number: 0259/440.742.
