Gender discrimination has dominated art, culture and life for the past millennia "MEDEA'S BOYS" illustrates a directorial "dismantling" of the legend of the Argonauts and the Golden Fleece. The show discusses male vulnerabilities, machismo, patriarchy and misogyny, all through irony and humor. The stage universe (represented by a marine-themed bar) is populated by an all-male cast. Here, several Argonauts meet to celebrate the major experience of their lives – the mythological voyage on the ship Argo.

The waters of these memories full of courage and unconsciousness are troubled by the recollection of Medea, a character imagined by Euripides as a castrating apparition, a murderous and vengeful nomad. She mentally weaves herself into the infected, cracked identities of these six non-heroes, close witnesses to major events but untouched by fame. Manifesting their not-so-politically correct beginnings, at the same time remembering Medea's sacrifices, but also her recent crime, the protagonists end up changing their retrograde thinking and, consequently, their sexist discourse. "MEDEA'S BOYS" tells us about the pathology of love, in an erotically incorrect show. Basically, it's about men trying to understand.
