One of the most anticipated moments of the festival is the awarding of the Short Theater Festival awards - the competition section, which is in its XXIV edition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The selection of the SHORT THEATER FESTIVAL was made this year by Victoria Balint - head of the cultural projects and public relations office at the Regina Maria Theatre. The following shows entered the competition:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>DARK MINE \u2013 Szigligeti Theatre, Oradea<\/li>\n<li>A LESSON IN GOOD MANNERS \u2013 State Jewish Theatre, Bucharest<\/li>\n<li>SPRAYING \u2013 Apollo 111 Theatre, Bucharest<\/li>\n<li>THE GOD OF BUTCHER - &quot;Mihai Eminescu&quot; Theater, Boto\u0219ani<\/li>\n<li>THE BEAUTY QUEEN FROM LEENANE - &quot;Jean Bart&quot; Theatre, Tulcea<\/li>\n<li>GARDENIA \u2013 Odeon Theatre, Bucharest<\/li>\n<li>THE AMAZING LONELY NUMBERS OF EDWARD GANT - &quot;Fani Tardini&quot; Theater, Gala\u0163i<\/li>\n<li>TRATUFFE \u2013 Theater &quot;Maria Filotti&quot;, Br\u0103ila<\/li>\n<li>IN THE HEART OF THE NIGHT \u2013 THE MACBETH EPISODE \u2013 Regina Maria Theater, Oradea<\/li>\n<li>THE AGES OF THE MOON \u2013 UNTEATRU, Bucharest<\/li>\n<li>FATHER - Classical Theater &quot;Ioan Slavici&quot;, Arad<\/li>\n<li>BISON&#039;S HEAD \u2013 T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219 National Theater \u2013 \u201cLiviu Rebreanu\u201d Company<\/li>\n<li>DEAR TEACHER \u2013 Baia Mare Municipal Theatre<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year two juries analyzed and awarded prizes: a jury made up of four students from prestigious theater faculties in the country, of which I am a part <strong>ELENA-ANTOANETA R\u0102CHITAN<\/strong>, from the National University of Theater and Cinematography &quot;IL Caragiale&quot;, Bucharest, majoring in THEATEROLOGY, <strong>IRINA SAB\u0102U-B\u0102LAN<\/strong>, from the Faculty of Theater and Television, Cluj-Napoca, specializing in THEATROLOGY, <strong>TUDOR NONE<\/strong>, from the Faculty of Theater and Television, Cluj-Napoca, specializing in THEATEROLOGY and <strong>Vlad Hanes<\/strong>, from the Faculty of Theater - T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219 University of Arts, majoring in ACTING and the jury consisting of five great personalities from the theater world, which included theater critics <strong>ION PARHON<\/strong>, <strong>ELIZABETH POP<\/strong> and the actors <strong>CRISTIAN SOFRON<\/strong>, <strong>THEODORE CORBAN<\/strong> and <strong>RICHARD BALINT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The student jury awarded the following prizes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The award for <strong>the best show<\/strong>, which belongs to the performance &quot;PULVERIZARE&quot;, from the APOLLO 111 Theater in Bucharest<\/li>\n<li>The award for <strong>best director, <\/strong>which goes to Mr. Zoltan Balazs, for the show &quot;GARDENIA&quot;, from the Odeon Theater in Bucharest.<\/li>\n<li>The award for <strong>best scenography, <\/strong>which goes to Mrs. Roxana Ionescu for the performance &quot;IN THE HEART OF THE NIGHT - THE MACBETH EPISODE&quot; at the Regina Maria Theater in Oradea.<\/li>\n<li>The award for <strong>best actress<\/strong>, which goes to Mrs. Irina Naum, for the role <strong>Maureen Folan <\/strong>from the show &quot;THE BEAUTY QUEEN FROM LEENANE&quot;, from the &quot;Jean Bart&quot; Theater in Tulcea.<\/li>\n<li>The award for <strong>the best actor<\/strong>, which goes to Mr. Ovidiu Ghini\u021b\u0103, for the role of Andre, from the show &quot;FATHER&quot;, from the Classical Theater &quot;Ioan Slavici&quot; in Arad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The jury of the Short Theater Festival decided to award the following prizes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>1. The prize is offered by the Queen Maria Theatre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>THE JURY PRIZE - which is awarded to the Queen Maria Theater for the show &quot;IN THE HEART OF THE NIGHT - THE MACBETH EPISODE&quot; - the third and last of the project that lasted three seasons - for the cultural and artistic breadth and professional devotion of all its creators.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Also, another very special prize that was awarded this year during the festival is the &quot;OR\u0102DEAN SPECTATOR AWARD&quot;, for the show &quot;Heat in November&quot;, by Yana Dobreva, directed by Petru Vutc\u0103r\u0103u, from the &quot;Eugen Ionesco&quot; National Theater in Chisinau , offered by ITM SA Oradea \u2013 High security metal doors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"RO\">The management of the Regina Maria Theater also awarded the prize to the &quot;People behind the scenes&quot;, those who make possible from a technical point of view all the magic we enjoy at every show.
