An unexpected meeting in an airport turns into an intense, passionate and crazy relationship. The song "Girls and Boys" tells the story of a seemingly ordinary family - a Him and a She who move in together, buy a house, have two children. But then their world starts to fall apart and things take a disturbing turn.

"At the end of the last century, when I started working full-time in theater, the chronicles that analyzed contemporary texts usually identified in them themes such as love, family, friendship, death... that's all. "Girls and Boys" was written a few years ago. I look for reviews on the net: I find that the themes are, as in many of the recent texts, toxic masculinity, patriarchy... that's why. I find myself asking myself: how did I start editing such a text? And how come I like it so much? When I changed without realizing it, why did I become passionate about such themes?

I think I have an answer to these questions: Girls and Boys can talk passionately about toxic masculinity and patriarchy because its themes, its real themes, are all about love and family and friendship. To avoid confusion: friendship is a major theme not of the text, but of the show. I mean the bonds that I think I can call that between me and Raluca, between me and Cristina, between me and Miki. And, last but not least, between me and the Act Theater." – Cristi Juncu
