DAY TWO | FITO 2017
The Oradea International Theater Festival was opened with a roar of applause for the premiere of the show "The Stag King", an adaptation of Carlo Gozzi's theatrical fairy tale, directed by Alexandru Colpacci at the Queen Maria Theatre.
During the opening ceremony, the prize for the "Dramatic creation competition dedicated to the short play" was awarded, which, at the decision of the jury made up of the editor-in-chief of Familia Magazine - Ioan Moldovan and the theater critics Claudiu Groza and Elisabeta Pop, was presented to Mrs. Crista Bilciu , for the lyrics "Sub-Soul".
Today, September 25, on the second day of the festival, we invite you to enjoy four extraordinary shows. The day will start at 17:00 at the Bihor National Tourist Information and Promotion Center (former studio hall) with a one-woman show written and directed by the winner of the "Dramatic Creation Contest", Mrs. Crista Bilciu. The show "Half a song" tells the story of Francesca (Anda Saltelechi), following her life from 5 to 33 years old, in nine paintings, each capturing an age, a universe, an incident among those that matter and can shape or break a destiny.
From 19:00 the spectators are invited to the Great Hall of the Theater to enjoy the most beloved musical of the Queen Maria Theatre: "Fiddler on the Roof". From the same time, at Sala Arcadia, "Three other sisters" cry, laugh, dance, love and wait... the audience to share the emotion of the show. A production of the Dramatic Theater "Ion D. Sîrbu" from Petroșani, in the cast of which you will be able to see again Simona Codreanu, who played for two years on the stage of the Oradean theater.
The evening ends with a performance by the Baia Mare Municipal Theatre: "Edmond", by David Mamet, directed by Andrei Dinu, which will be played from 9:00 p.m., at the House of Culture of the Trade Unions, a painful odyssey, in which the protagonist accumulates experiences and sensations, crossing brothels and nightclubs, without losing the force, be it cynical, to dream.
We are waiting for you to join us and enjoy the magic of the show every day of the Oradea International Theater Festival. Let reality fall by the wayside for a few days and allow fantasy and the imaginary universe to take its place.
