I don't expect anyone to come to the theater today just to see two hours of the agony of a decrepit actor in a mutilated theater at the end of a world in agony. I think we are facing a text about decomposition and disintegration, organic and essential fears of each of us. And that's what we tried to talk about, each in the way we had the courage to reveal ourselves. Of course, at the same time, the show questions the meaning of art, of theater, in uncertain times for society. We ask questions about the status of the artist and his relationship with the world. But this is not the main purpose of our approach.
"Immigrate or there are too many of us on this damn boat", by Matei Vişniec, artistic direction Ovidiu Caiţa, scenography Oana Cernea, presents a hot topic of today's Europe, confronted with the wave of migrants from the East, which is invading the continent from the sea. The show is designed from a sequence of scenes, which present events that happened on the route followed by the migrants, from the boat that transports them across the sea, with the group of cynical guides, who treat them as a commodity, but, presenting their good intentions, giving the migrants behavioral instructions at sea, then in Europe.
Slava's wife, Renata, dies. After a while, he finds his wife's e-mails, from which it emerges that, for years, Renata had cheated on him, thus invalidating his paternity. As much as it pains him, he understands that he has no right to blame Renata, because he has also had a mistress for about four years. Still thinking about the nature of lying, Slava decides to stop lying, to tell only the truth. And this decision brings him new suffering: he becomes rude and uncomfortable for the rest of the world.
The Little Soldier is a story for all ages and all times, carrying with it the scent of childhood forever. The world seen through the eyes of a 9-year-old girl is as candid and unpredictable as a serious game of life and death. The show is composed like a childish puzzle from the memories of Grandma, the central character of this Cosmos, the mistress of the games and the holder of all the small and big questions in the universe. Grandma is childhood, she is the world, she is life. That is why she is not allowed to disappear, and little Ami decides to save her grandmother from death, training an entire army of soldiers to defend her...
"FAT PIG" by Neil LaBute, is a bitter comedy about uncomfortable subjects, about how brave we are to be ourselves, about cowardice in the face of a cruel society that, apparently, strives for perfection but in reality puts a lot of pressure on us. We end up simulating this perfection by displaying FORMS established by society as the image of perfection, but which only reaches form because the substance is lost in this uniformity. "Fat Pig" is the story of a young corporate man who falls in love with a cute overweight librarian, only his friends and colleagues at the firm react strongly when they learn of the young man's "inappropriate" relationship.
"Dissatisfied with what is happening to his life, Edmond decides to start over. To the temptations of the street, he responds brutally, with the sharp edge of the blade, out of desperation, misunderstanding, fear. In his painful odyssey, he accumulates experiences and sensations, crossing brothels and nightclubs, where encounters with others are frustrating and alienating. In a world full of "dead", being alive is the protagonist's obsessive aspiration.
"[...] Oleanna" by David Mamet is a play in two characters that raises important issues in the evolution of contemporary society, such as political correctness and the poor definition of terms in communication. The characters who participate in the construction of the dramatic conflict of the text are Carol (Irina NAUM), a student, and her teacher John (Cristi NAUM). The action takes place in John's office. Carol confesses to the professor that, although she read his book, she did not understand the course at all, especially the thesis according to which university studies, as a mass phenomenon, would be a utopia.
"Pirandello's Cafe" starts from the dramatic script created by Anca Măniuțiu, substructured on two plays by the playwright Luigi Pirandello: Omul with the flower in his mouth and mountain giants, in the intertext of which disparate lines from Six characters in search of an author and Tonight they're improvising.
"HALF SONG” tells the story of Francesca from the age of 5 to 33, in nine paintings, each capturing an age, a universe, an incident among those that matter and can shape or break a destiny. A story about missing out, about what happens when you don't have the courage to follow your dreams and get tangled up in your own life, like a coat a few sizes too big. About how the unlived life ends up gnawing at you from the inside like a cancer.

Through the project proposed by Bobi Pricop, Teatrul Tineretului invites you to experience theater in a surprising way. The novelty of the play "Un stejar" consists in the fact that one of the two actors who will play in the show accepts the challenge of being at the first meeting with the text during the performance, in front of the audience. The invited actor will go on stage, together with the actor of the Youth Theatre, Mircea Postelnicu, without knowing anything about the play and without having seen the performance beforehand.
